Our Board of Directors provides governance, accountability, and strategic guidance to support the mission of Tri-Valley Counseling Center. Board members bring diverse professional experience and a shared commitment to ethical care, inclusion, and the well-being of our community.

Linda Franklin (she/her)
Co-Chairperson

Linda has worked in the Human Resources field for over 15 years. Her passion as an HR subject matter expert is to ensure organizations not only thrive but also foster compassionate and inclusive cultures. Linda has a diverse background and has worked in various sectors, including Behavioral Health, Corporate, Law enforcement, Non-Profit Management, and Church. Linda is a business owner providing HR consulting services providing expert advice and support to organizations on human resources strategy, operations, and compliance to improve business performance and the employee experience.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice and an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources.

Linda’s commitment to integrity and kindness ensures that every interaction, strategy, and solution is rooted in authenticity and care. Linda’s 4 values are: Faith, Family, Friends and Fitness.

Amy Sargent (she/her)
Co-Chairperson

Amy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20 years of clinical experience.  She has also worked in ministry for 30 years.  She holds a Masters of Counseling Psychology degree from Santa Clara University and a Masters of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.  Her passion has been helping others heal and grow because it offers redemption for her own history and healing journey.

Amy is passionate about increasing access to quality mental health services and developing quality mental professionals . As a board member of Tri-Valley Counseling Center, she contributes leadership in governance, strategic planning, and community-based mental health initiatives.

Amy has been married to her husband, Antony, for over twenty years and they have three children- Allison, Abigail and Adam. They also have cats and a dog, not to mention foster pets at times.  Outside of work, she enjoys being active, spending time with friends, Broadway musicals, traveling and the occasional glass of wine.

Julie Schenone (she/her)
Treasurer

Julie Schenone has over 30 years of experience in finance, working in both for‑profit and non‑profit organizations. She believes strong leadership is essential for organizational success.

A lifelong Californian, Julie grew up in Ventura and settled in Livermore after college, where she and her husband Chris raised three children and have built lasting community ties.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from CSU Chico. Julie enjoys reading, traveling, and volunteering, always striving to make a positive impact.

Debbie Curtis (she/her)
Secretary

Debbie has been a resident of the Tri-Valley community for over 30 years and has served the community through ministry and counseling for more than two decades. Her professional experience includes working as a school counselor, serving as Director of Clinical Services supporting survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and leading as Director of Care within a church Care Ministry. She has also been actively involved with a nonprofit counseling center dedicated to providing affordable mental health services.

Debbie has a deep heart for supporting individuals and families in need of mental health care and is passionate about expanding access to high-quality counseling. She is especially committed to supporting and training new associate mental health providers to ensure continued growth, excellence, and sustainability in counseling services for the community.

Debbie resides in the Tri-Valley with her husband and their two Labrador retrievers. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, and scuba diving in the warm waters around the world.

Steve Ingold (he/him)
Board Member

Steve Ingold is the Lead Pastor at Cornerstone Fellowship, where he has served since 2009. His heartbeat is helping people step into the fullness of who they were created to be—discovering purpose, potential, and hope along the way. He hopes to bring thoughtful leadership, genuine presence, and a deep belief in the transformative power of healing and spiritual growth.

Originally from Indiana but raised in sunny San Diego, Steve studied Philosophy and Theology at Point Loma Nazarene University. Those years formed both his love for asking big questions and his commitment to walking with people through the complexity of life and faith.


Steve and his wife, Amanda, are parents to two boys, Jericho and Zekiah, who keep life loud, joyful, and full of adventure. Outside of ministry, Steve enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and engaging in slightly-too-passionate conversations about his favorite sports teams.
