Tri-Valley Counseling Center (TVCC) is a non-profit counseling center in the East Bay that offers therapy to individuals, couples, youth and families based on the needs of those clients. Our mission is to provide health, healing, hope and wholeness to those hurting in and around our community. Our goal is to foster awareness, insight and change that can help a person move from surviving life to thriving in life. We don’t want finances to keep you from excellent care, so we provide low-cost counseling and offer sliding scales to make it affordable. Our team of psychotherapists are here for you!
Our Story
Our counseling center was born out of a simple but powerful desire: to care for our community in a way that was genuinely accessible, inclusive, and supportive. A local church recognized the growing mental health needs around them and wanted to help—not by offering Christian counseling or promoting a particular belief system, but by creating a space where everyone could feel safe, respected, and welcomed.
From the beginning, the vision was to provide high-quality, professional counseling that honors each person’s unique story, values, and identity. Rooted in compassion and community care, the center exists to serve people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences—meeting them exactly where they are and walking alongside them toward healing and wholeness.
Mission
To provide health, healing, hope, and wholeness through high-quality counseling for individuals, couples, and families in our community.
